AWF Officials have announced that Jakob Austin Young was just named #1 Contender for the AWF Unleashed Championship.
Young will get an opportunity to challenge current Champion Aydan Colt for the AWF Unleashed Championship at AWF Triumph. Beloved by Arizona Wrestling fans, Young has made a strong name for himself in the Las Vegas wrestling scene. Since returning to AWF in 2021, Young has brought back the gritty and punishing mat style that he’s made his reputation on.
April 16th at The Reckoning in Glendale, AZ, Young has the opportunity to win his first AWF gold of his career. To do so, he will have to dethrone Colt, the first ever AWF Wildcard Rumble winner. Could this be JAY’s time to usher in a new era?
