JOEY HENDRIX, who last wrestled in February 2020, returned to competition last weekend at Showcase.
Hendrix had an impressive outing over the two night event, gaining victories in both singles and tag team competition.
On night one, Hendrix defeated newcomer Akira Gonzalez X in singles competition. On night two, Hendrix displayed his tag team acumen. He teamed with rookie partner Bryce Saturn to defeat the team of fellow rookie Arrow and former Unleashed Champion Aguila. Hendrix scored the pinfall in their victory.
AWF Officials have been noted as being very impressed in Hendrix and Saturn's success. Rumors are circulating around AWF HQ that the team may have earned a chance to challenge RMB at the Reckoning, this upcoming Saturday, for the AWF Tag Team Championships.
